Personal Graduation Plans

In the spring semester, the secondary campus counselors, with the support of campus administrators and district leaders, will hold personal graduation planning meetings with all students, grades 8-12, and their guardians. During these meetings, students and families will receive a packet of resources, guides, checklists, and software applications to help them with their planning, course selection, and future path decisions following high school.

Parents can expect counselors to support planning by assisting students and families in the process of:

  • Reviewing completed courses and current courses, and making plans for the following year.
  • Creating a Personalized Graduation Plan that will engage parents in the conversation about course selections, graduation endorsements, and opportunities for Advanced Academics.
  • Receiving a copy of the Personal Graduation Plan to review, sign and return to the counselor.
  • Receiving information for Post Graduation Prep with timelines and resources for scholarships, financial aid, assessments, and more.
