I am so excited to join Navarro High School with 19 years of experience in education, 16 of which I have proudly served as a school counselor. My passion lies in helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally using the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling. This model is data driven and focuses on the whole student. I earned my undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's College while playing softball. Upon graduation, I headed to Texas State University where I earned my master's degree in Professional Guidance and Counseling. I have been married to my husband, Sy, for 15 years. We have two girls and live in Navarro ISD. As a parent with children in Navarro ISD, I am especially excited to become part of the Navarro community this year where my girls attend at the intermediate and junior level. I look forward to supporting all students and families throughout their high school journey, ensuring that every Panther graduates career, military, and/or college ready.

Hello Panthers! My name is Caroline Bauer, and I am honored to serve as the College, Career, Military Readiness (CCMR) Advisor at Navarro High School.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi in 2008 and began my career teaching Algebra I in Rockport, where I also enjoyed coaching cheerleading. In 2014, I moved to the Legacy of Educational Excellence (LEE) High School in North East ISD to continue teaching Algebra I. I completed my Masters of Education degree in Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction in 2016 and soon took on the role of Instructional Dean of Mathematics at Roosevelt High School, where I also continued to teach. In 2023, I transitioned into the role of CCMR Specialist at Roosevelt, supporting students as they planned for life after graduation.

Wanting to be closer to home and involved in the school district where my own children attend, I joined Navarro High School as the CCMR Advisor. I have three boys—Cooper, Trent, and Lee—and much of my time outside of school is spent cheering them on in their many activities.

I am excited to bring my experience, passion, and commitment to the Navarro community. My goal is to support every student as they explore and prepare for their next steps, whether that path leads to college, a trade school, the workforce, or military service. I am here to help students and families with:

  • College applications and admissions guidance

  • Financial aid and scholarship support

  • Military branch information and recruiter connections

  • Career exploration and interest assessments

  • Dual credit and postsecondary planning

  • Résumé building, job searches, and interview readiness

  • Understanding graduation requirements and endorsements

I am available to meet with both students and parents, and I look forward to partnering with you throughout your high school journey. Together, we will create a clear and confident plan for your future.
